General Information

What makes the ev¹c different?

The ev¹c brings smart sensing, Quad-Drive power and advanced steering into one everyday mobility vehicle. It is designed to make daily movement feel safer, smoother and more relaxed, whether you are indoors, outside or moving through busy spaces.

Can children use the ev¹c?

The ev¹c is designed for users between 25 kg and 160 kg. Children should only use it with full adult awareness and close supervision at all times. An adult should make sure hands, feet and clothing are kept away from gaps, openings and moving parts.

Is there a minimum user weight?

Yes. The recommended user weight range is 25 kg to 160 kg.

Will I need to pay a subscription to use the ev¹c?

No subscription is needed for the main released features. Core driving and safety features are included with the vehicle. Some cloud-based services, such as cellular features, may be treated separately.

How is my privacy protected?

Sensors are used to support safety and driving features. They are not designed to run continuously or collect data without user control. Data is used to support product operation and safety, not for unrelated advertising or marketing.

Where can I find the serial number?

You can find the serial number on the onboard screen under the Information section. It can also be found on the product body by removing the seat cushion and checking the seat module area.

Specifications

How much does the ev¹c weigh?

The ev¹c is built from separate modules. The total weight excluding the battery is around 63.8 kg. The battery weighs around 5.8 kg. Individual module weights may vary slightly.

What are the module weights?

The front chassis is around 18.2 kg, the rear chassis around 19.8 kg, the seat around 18.4 kg, the main arm around 7.4 kg and the battery around 5.8 kg. Figures have a small tolerance.

What are the dimensions of the ev¹c?

With the standard seat and backrest fitted, the ev¹c measures around 1046 mm long, 584 to 660 mm wide and 872 to 982 mm high.

What size is the footplate?

The usable foot area is around 31 cm, with a total footplate length of around 34 cm.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The ev¹c supports users from 25 kg up to 160 kg.

What motor system does the ev¹c use?

The ev¹c uses four motors, with active front steering and rear-wheel drive. The two rear drive motors can each deliver up to 1000W peak power.

What slope can the ev¹c handle?

The ev¹c is designed to handle slopes up to 13°. Its incline system adjusts speed and acceleration based on the slope angle to support safer driving.

What is the maximum speed?

The ev¹c has five speed levels, with a top speed of up to 8 mph or 13 km/h. Local rules may affect permitted speed.

Does the ev¹c have indicators or a horn?

The ev¹c does not have built-in indicators. It does include a horn function that can be assigned to the multi-use button, with adjustable volume.

Is there storage space?

Yes. The ev¹c includes under-seat storage as standard. Optional rear storage and side storage accessories can add more space for daily items.

Can I add a cup holder or phone holder?

Yes. Optional accessories include a phone and cup mount, along with other add-ons for everyday use.

Does it include side support, reclining support or head support?

These are not included as standard. A higher backrest accessory is being developed to provide extra head support.

Assistive Driving

How does collision avoidance work?

The ev¹c uses a 360° sensing system to watch the surrounding area. In Manual Mode, the joystick can vibrate when an obstacle is detected. In Co-Pilot modes, the system can help adjust steering, slow down or stop in supported situations.

Does the driver still need to stay in control?

Yes. Smart assistance can support safer movement, but the user must stay aware and responsible for safe driving at all times.

What range does the point cloud map cover?

The point cloud map currently covers up to around 4 metres. This may improve with future software updates.

Is there a limit for the Waypoint feature?

The Waypoint feature currently supports routes up to around 300 metres. Longer routes may become available through future over-the-air updates.

Can LiDAR react quickly at higher speeds?

LiDAR can react very quickly, but stopping distance still depends on speed, surface, load and braking limits. The system cannot guarantee a full stop in every sudden or close-range situation.

Can the ev¹c detect low vegetation?

Detection depends on the height and shape of the object. As a guide, vegetation around 20 cm or taller is more likely to be detected, while lower vegetation may be treated as passable ground.

Can it detect toddlers, pets or low obstacles?

The ev¹c includes a lower safety zone that can detect objects such as feet, paws and other low items near the base of the vehicle. Detection still depends on the object’s height, shape and position.

Can the ev¹c detect people’s feet when reversing?

Yes. In supported modes, the rear camera can help detect movement behind the ev¹c, including feet and pets, to make reversing more controlled.

Software

How do I update the ev¹c software?

Software updates are installed over the air. On the onboard screen, open Information and check the software version section. Make sure the ev¹c is connected to Wi-Fi and has enough battery before starting.

Can the ev¹c remember different maps?

Yes. The ev¹c can save up to five maps. You can create, switch between and delete maps based on where you use the vehicle.

How large can each saved map be?

Each map supports a single-level area within a maximum radius of around 150 metres from the starting point used during mapping.

Does the ev¹c support eye-gaze, chin or head control?

Not at this stage. Extra input methods may be explored in the future through third-party integrations, but there is no confirmed release date.

Do I need the app to use the ev¹c?

The app is needed for initial registration and activation. After activation, the main driving modes can be used without the app.

Which phones does the app support?

The app supports iOS and Android devices.

Do all features need internet access?

No. Sensing, path planning and vehicle control are handled onboard. Cloud features, such as AI assistant tools and over-the-air updates, need Wi-Fi or cellular data.

What happens if the internet disconnects while driving?

Core smart driving functions continue because they run onboard. Cloud-based features may pause until the connection returns.

Battery & Charging

What is the maximum range?

With the 640Wh long-range battery, the ev¹c can travel up to around 20 miles or 32 km in controlled test conditions. Real range will vary based on speed, terrain, user weight, temperature and active features.

Why might my real-world range be different?

Range changes with driving style, surface, gradients, load, temperature and feature use. Smart sensors and onboard systems also use power, even when the vehicle is not moving.

How can I get more range from each charge?

Use Range Mode when suitable and switch to Sleep Mode when the ev¹c is idle. This helps reduce power use from active systems.

What is the estimated range of the flight-safe battery?

The 288Wh flight-safe battery can provide up to around 9 miles or 14.5 km, depending on conditions.

How long does the flight-safe battery take to charge?

Under normal temperatures, it can charge to around 80% in about 1.2 hours and reach full charge in roughly 2 to 2.5 hours. Very hot or cold conditions can increase charging time.

How long does the long-range battery last?

The long-range battery is rated for around 3,200 full charge cycles under typical use.

How can I charge the ev¹c?

You can remove the battery and charge it separately, charge through the port beneath the armrest cover while the battery is installed, or charge directly through the battery charging port while installed.

How long does a full charge take?

The ev¹c can charge from 0% to 80% in around 2 hours. A full charge takes around 4 hours.

How should I care for the battery?

Keep the battery away from extreme heat or cold. Avoid direct sunlight, especially inside a hot vehicle. For long-term storage, keep it partly charged and check it every few months. Stop using the battery or charger if you notice damage, heat, swelling, leaks or unusual smells.

Can the battery overcharge?

The official battery and charger include charging protection and stop charging when full. Do not use third-party chargers.

Can I charge the ev¹c with a portable power station?

Yes, if the power station can provide enough continuous AC output. A continuous output above 400W is required, with 500W or more recommended.

Assembly & Comfort

Can the ev¹c be adjusted?

Yes. The backrest angle and height, seat height, armrest width and armrest height can all be adjusted. The armrests and footplate also fold to help with transfers.

Can the seat backrest be adjusted?

Yes. The backrest can be manually set to three incline positions: 13°, 16° and 19°.

Can the backrest be replaced for extra support?

A high-back accessory is being developed to provide more head support.

Can I use a third-party seat cushion?

Yes. The seat cushion is removable and can be replaced with a compatible third-party cushion.

Can the left and right armrests be swapped?

Yes. The touchscreen, joystick and control button module can be moved between the left and right side to suit the user.

Does the ev¹c have a seat belt?

A standard safety belt is available for basic positioning.

Does the ev¹c have foot straps?

The footplate and tie-down hook area include mounting points that may support certain foot or leg support options. Any added support must not block sensors or interfere with operation.

Driving Experience

Is the ev¹c comfortable on uneven gravel?

The ev¹c uses active steering, powerful rear motors and four-wheel independent suspension to help give a stable ride on many uneven paths. A test drive is recommended before purchase.

Does the ev¹c have suspension?

Yes. It has four-wheel independent suspension for comfort and stability.

Can the ev¹c be used outside?

Yes. It can handle paved surfaces, cobbled streets and many everyday outdoor areas. Users should always follow local rules and drive safely.

Can the ev¹c drive close to a table?

Yes. In Co-Pilot mode, the ev¹c can detect tables and nearby objects to help position the user comfortably. The armrests can also flip up, and the app can help with small position adjustments.

What should I know when the armrests are flipped up?

When the armrests are raised, the sensors in them are inactive. Drive carefully and manually check the surrounding area to avoid bumps.

What surfaces can the ev¹c drive on?

The ev¹c can handle pavements, gravel, bark, grass and trails. Deep sand and muddy ground are not recommended because the wheels may lose grip.

Can the ev¹c go over small kerbs?

Yes. It can handle obstacles up to around 2 inches or 50 mm.

Is the ev¹c weatherproof?

The ev¹c is rated IPX5 overall, and the battery is rated IPX6.

Travel & Transport

Is the ev¹c foldable or detachable?

The ev¹c has a modular design and can be separated into five modules, including the battery, to make transport easier.

How heavy is the heaviest module?

The heaviest module is around 19.8 kg.

What protection is included for transport?

Protective covers are included for the LiDAR, screen and joystick. These help with routine marks and scratches, but they cannot protect against serious drops or heavy impacts.

Does the ev¹c fit in a car boot?

This depends on the car. Because the ev¹c separates into modules, it can fit into many compact SUVs and larger vehicles.

Can the battery be taken on an aeroplane?

The 640Wh long-range battery is not permitted for air travel. The 288Wh flight-safe battery is designed to meet airline battery transport rules, but each airline has its own approval process.

Should I check with the airline before flying?

Yes. Always contact the airline before travelling and request approval in advance.

How is the ev¹c secured inside a van?

The ev¹c includes tie-down and securement points beneath the chassis, allowing it to be secured with standard tie-down methods.

Is the ev¹c compatible with docking systems?

It may be mechanically adapted for certain vehicle docking systems if the dimensions and interface match. Compatibility should be checked with the docking system supplier or a qualified installer.

Can the ev¹c be used as a car seat while travelling?

No. The ev¹c has not been crash-tested as an occupied vehicle seat. Users should transfer to a certified vehicle seat before the vehicle moves.

Maintenance & Cleaning

What is the waterproof rating?

The ev¹c is rated IPX5 overall. The battery is rated IPX6.

How should I clean the ev¹c?

Use a soft damp microfibre cloth for regular cleaning. Sensor areas should be wiped gently with a clean damp cloth. Avoid solvents and do not scrub sensor surfaces with force.

How often should I maintain it?

Check the ev¹c regularly and follow the repair and maintenance guidance in the user manual.

When should I contact support?

Contact support if the ev¹c is not working correctly, has performance problems, makes unusual noises, gives warning alerts, smells unusual or still has issues after basic checks.

What should I do if I think the ev¹c is unsafe to use?

Stop using it straight away and contact official support or your authorised dealer for advice.

When does the warranty start?

Is service available in remote areas?

Support may be limited in remote areas or places with restricted logistics. Extra shipping or handling costs may apply depending on the case.

What is usually covered by warranty?

Warranty may cover performance failures caused by material or manufacturing defects during normal use and maintenance.

What is usually not covered by warranty?

Common exclusions include misuse, failure to follow the manual, accidents, impact damage, water ingress outside the stated rating, unauthorised repairs, modifications, normal wear and second-hand products.

How do I request after-sales or warranty service?

What information is needed for a service request?

You will usually need the serial number, proof of purchase, a description of the issue and photos or videos where useful. Extra details may be requested depending on the fault.

Repairs & Replacements

Will replacement parts be available locally?

How are software issues handled?

Software issues can often be checked remotely through support channels. The technical team may provide guidance, updates or troubleshooting steps.

Will my ev¹c be repaired or replaced?

The ev¹c is modular, so some hardware issues may be handled by replacing the affected module rather than replacing the whole vehicle.

Does warranty continue after repair?

Repairs carried out during the warranty period do not remove your original warranty rights. Repaired or replaced parts are covered according to the warranty policy.

Who should I contact if repair is needed?

Contact official support or your authorised dealer. Do not take the ev¹c apart or attempt repairs yourself, as this may affect warranty cover.

How is the warranty period calculated for replacement parts?

Service Costs

Do I need to pay for shipping?

Are warranty repairs free?

Repairs covered by warranty are usually carried out without repair charges. If the issue is outside warranty, costs may apply.

When would repairs be chargeable?

Paid repairs may apply if the product is out of warranty, damaged by accident or misuse, altered without authorisation, repaired by someone unauthorised, or if worn consumable parts need replacing.

How are repair costs worked out?
